Enjoying My 4 Day Weekend

I must say I do quite enjoy having a 4 day weekend. I'm actually have more time off than I do at college and that's great. Not having to go in 4 days a week and instead only 3 saves me 2 hours of travelling on the bus which is great.

College life is getting back to swing and it's just how it's supposed to be, alright and fun. Been messing around quite a bit in Gordon's lessons looking at funny pictures but ultimately it's no big deal because I know with Gordon he doesn't ask for much in his assignments meaning 100% attention in his lessons really isn't needed.

I'm a bit peckish now and fancy making myself some lunch but he said he may bring me food back which will be much more yummy than what I make myself here. Must persevere and wait!

Back to College for Year 2

Yesterday my alarm woke me up at 6:45 for the first time in about 100 days. It was the first day of the 2nd and final year at Bedford college and I was able to get up, eat breakfast and be ready and out of the house in time to get the 7:30 bus.

The day progressed quite slowly and was quite a bore thanks to my new teacher Phillipe. It shall take some time to adjust to her I'm sure (especially considering I have her for 4 and a 1/2 hours on Wednesday for 3 different units!) but it should't be too bad as she seems a nice lady.

Key Skills has gotten off to a flying start for me thanks to the great topics we're doing this year. I didn't like doing a sports day for a primary school last year and I hated having to find holiday prices. This year thankfully I am able to write article/letter and do a presentation on why Tony Hawk is an inspiration to me as well as doing Maths Level 2 on finding whether the Xbox 360 or PS3 is the most cost-effective games console. I'm currently getting myself ahead in this lesson with my friend Alex in a bid to be finished in just a few weeks, an immense achievement if we manage it.

I was very tired on the way home on the bus yesterday and had a half nap when I got in. Thankfully today I have coped better, 3 days in a row of getting up at 6:45am is going to take some getting used to!

Went to the Doctor's

Went to the doctor's in Little Paxton today to get my ankle checked out. There was no new news for me to hear, wasn't very helpful either really. I'm hoping to see a physio tomorrow who will give me exercises to do and give me a recommendation as to when I should go back in to skateboarding.

As for now my plan is to not skate until October and just pray it will fully heal.

Back From Holiday - With Illness

Been back in England a few days now and it sure is nice to be back to weather that isn't bloody hot everyday. The coach drive back was even worse than the journey to the destination due to the fact (put that in there cos of Taylor :P) everybody had gotten ill. I don't believe we have swine flu but considering it's been nearly a week and yet not everyone is feeling 100% back to normal (me included although the others are worse) it could be something worse than just the usual cold.

Can't be bothered to blab about the holiday, the hotel was pretty crap but they had alright food. The entertainment there was lame but they had some good activities such as rifle shooting and archery as well as an okay pool. The area in Spain was decent enough with enough entertainment to occupy us throughout the 2 weeks we were there (crazy golf, bowling, trampolining) and going to Barcelona to see statue people (whatever they are meant to be cool) was a fun experience. Still, glad to be back.

Holiday Tomorrow

After waiting for 10 months or so the holiday to Spain with my family and Taylor is starting tomorrow. With a 20 to 30 hour coach trip journey to get there I'm sure tomorrow is going to be a very dull day. Not sure what I'm going to do on the coach but I plan on sorting out my iTunes and iPod today so that I have that to listen to. My trusty camcorder will also be coming with me on my hand luggage so I can document our trip, just need to clear up some space on the hard drive (maybe) and upload recent skate clips and charge the battery, then I'm all set.

Going to have Taylor come round tonight and help make sure everything is fully ready for our 9AM start tomorrow. I think she's going to burst with excitement when she wakes up tomorrow morning lol.

Big Storm + Babysitting

Taylor suspected a storm was coming after we were both getting hot and stuff Thursday night, it's a sign that bad weather is approaching. Sure enough she was right, the next day (yesterday) it thundered and rained a lot so I was unable to do any skateboarding.

After spending a day inside looking after Taylor (because she's a bum hole and gets scared) and watching The Heartbreak Kid we ended up going round her auntie's house to babysit Taylor's cousins. They're great kids and fun to be around, a privilege I do for free (even though Tay Tay get's £20 out of it :O).

She's at work now and I'm here bored blogging. Hmmmmm I hope the weather gets better so i can go skate!

I'm Hating This Weather

I had 3 bloody showers yesterday, all because the sun wants to make it too god damn hot! It's horrible, puts me in a depressing mood and makes me run out of clean underwear to wear. I'm so grateful that the sun is bloody hot yet again, I'm going to love melting when I dare step outside later to the postbox!

Just going to have to retreat in my bedroom and hope it cools down for the rest of the year. I miss winter!

Being On The Moon Must Be So Cool

So after Top Gear finished (which I only watched to see who The Stig was and chances are it was staged as I'm sure it's not Michael Schumacher) I saw the James guy from Top Gear in a documentary about the moon and space. I found it interesting learning about who went to the moon first, the problems they faced, how it's possible and many more answers to questions I have always wondered were revealed to me.

Eventually James got to go up not in to space but double or so the height of what a traditional aeroplane will take you when you go on holiday somewhere. The view he films on a camcorder is amazing, you can see the blackness of space and then far below are little white blotches, these were the clouds. When he lands he goes on to explain how he can understand the new sense of perspective you get on life and earth after experiencing what it's like to be on the outskirts of it.

It makes me want to go to the moon. Chances are I never will but no gravity skateboarding sure would kick arse.

I Hurt My Neck :(

It was all Taylor's fault! I was already happy for learning some weird martial arts backflip thing on my trampoline and then proud of myself for doing 2 back to back backflips first try and then when I was relishing the moment she told me to do a double front flip, calling me chicken if I didn't!

If you know me then you'd know I hate being called "chicken" or any other terminology that hints at me secretly being afraid to do something. The reality is that it isn't true, I just didn't want to try a double front flip because I can not get the height on the crappy Argos trampolines (which mine is).

First attempt I didn't land on feet but didn't get hurt, was satisfied but then decided I needed to try again on film otherwise I'd never get the guts again to get one on camera. This was a bad idea as this time I hurt my neck and it's been stiff and sore for the past couple of days *sobs*.

I Have a New Follower!

Well not properly, but kinda. My amazing beautiful girlfriend finally decided to watch my blog in case I mention anything about her, ha! Bit gay of her to not sign up properly and follow but with her having my blog page open in Firefox everytime she goes on the Internet she is sure to not miss any blog posts I make. :D

That's all for now, hope you've enjoyed me dedicating a whole post about you Tay Tay, I love you :P xxx <3

Half Term Again + Kitten Soon

So It's come really quickly, half term is here and I have a week off which I was hoping would be spent getting my assignments near to completition. Chances of this happening is slim though because A) I always get lazy and cba and B) my brother will be here hogging my bedroom. But on the college side of things it's overall going good. I'm aiming at 6 distinctions and potentially 8 out of 9 which really will give me a headstart into next year as I aim to get DDD overall and 360 ucast points. I still have a bit of work to do but it can be done.

Other news is I have another driving lesson in an hour or so (which I do look forward to but don't at same time) and my parents are going away to a wedding for a weekend. Taylor will probably nag to sleep round tonight but I'm not sure if I should let her because she did last night! It's archer's 18th birthday party tonight so I am probably going to be going to Tesco's after I've finished skating later to go get some alcopops for the gf otherwise she'll be on straight vodka tonight lol. I have some fosters but I may buy some more, don't wanna be short.

Finally the kitten I'm getting will be arriving on Monday, how cool!

Am I Over Illness?

So I fell ill on Wednesday and didn't feel properly back to normal until Monday but then later on in the day and for a bit on Tuesday I felt ill again! I seem to be alright today though (Wednesday) but am not looking forward to getting the bus to go college in 20 minutes time grr.

In other news my college is slowly coming towards the end. I've been signed off for Programming and Computer Systems which is 2 of the 8 done (was 9 but I did one in January). I'm slightly worried about getting it all done in time but I'm just going to keep going through the assignments getting the work done and hope for the best.

Finally I've now had 2 driving lessons (total of 4 hours) and I am quite enjoying it. It's going to be a shame in a few weeks time when it's finished as I'm sure I won't have learnt enough to be able to pass a test so I'll need to book more lessons which will most likely come out of my money.

Starting to Drive

Felt like I needed to write a post but don't have much to say so I'll blab a bit about me and driving.

Being 18 hasn't made any changes to my life as of yet because I haven't tried using ID to buy anything (apart from on my birthday night) but the present I got from my parents was driving lessons, which commence tomorrow. I'm not scared and am only slightly excited, as I've never drove before I'm not too sure what to expect so I'm just putting it to the side of my mind for now and waiting to see what happens. My first lesson is tomorrow at 11AM, my instructor (Denise) is coming to pick me up and a 2 hour long lesson will begin. It should be good, I'll just have to wait and see.

Watched the film Scar last night with Taylor where this Bishop guy used to murder people for fun, telling them to make a decision between killing their friend or pain inflicted upon themselves. The film seemed really cheap, like the blood and gore just didn't look right and there was this feeling surrounding the film that it was thrown together really quickly and was unpolished. Nevertheless it was alright and did keep me entertained so I'm glad I watched it, I'd recommend watching it as it has a few scares and jumps but it's not a film I'll be re-watching any time soon (more like ever).

I Have Become a Man

As of 1:23 AM on the May 2nd of 2009 I am now officially considered a man, turning 18 years of age. I have been given driving lessons as my present from my Dad and his girlfriend which also gifted me with ID which enabled me to go into Tesco and buy alcohol for the first time woo! My girlfriend got me bits and pieces as well as GTA IV which she wants to play with me (cool gf huh!) and £300 from my Mother will go along way in ensuring I have enough money to get my driving licence.

Other than my birthday I haven't done much in the past few days. I'm currently on the3rd day of my four day weekend and am hoping to actually go out and skate now after spending the majority of my time in doors on Xbox/with girlfriend or out in town to celebrate my birthday.

I've also been keeping up this blog for 4 months which I'm quite proud of. I really can't be bothered to type this now (mainly because no one reads it :() but I'm determined to continue for at least a year as I want to finish a New Year's Resolution for a change.

Birthday in 2 Days!

Woooah it's coming by pretty quick, in just 2 days time I'll finally be 18 and able to buy alcohol and games. It's not a big deal but it'll be a relief, especially as I always lie about my age on websites in case I get some crappy response saying I can't do this or that because I'm too young (have to be 18 to watch some videos on Youtube which pisses me off).

But anyway I can't be arsed to say anything else so I'm going to leave it like this. Will write back soon saying how my birthday was.

I Sent Programming

Pretty chuffed with myself today as I "sent" it today and did 4 hours with next to no break on Programming. We're just starting Assignment 2 (the class) and I have already about finished, when you really enjoy doing the lesson it makes you motivated to work and today as I started I just didn't want to stop. My reward? No need to come in on Thursdays lesson now which means a lie in for me and soon I wont need to go in to Fridays as I'll be fully finished.

College work on a whole has been pretty bad this week though with me doing lots of slacking and doing very little work (not a single thing in 4 and a 1/2 hours on monday). But as mentioned I sent it today with Programming and did a good amount of work in Key Skills too so I have made up for it.

Other news is how Taylor had me all paranoid yesterday when I was infact right first time! Was wondering where Love Park skatepark was at and thought it was Philidaplhia but she was shooting me down saying that is a different place and not in New York. Now I'll admit I was wrong about thinking Phily was in New York (it's in Pennslyavania) but was right all along about knowing the park was in Phily. It kept bugging me through the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer which we watched together yesterday.

Now I'm pretty tired from the big haul of work I've done today and am feeling hungry, looking forward to having dinner and playing some games with Tay Tay. :D

Nooooo Sleeeeeeeep. :(

So it's 7AM, I haven't woken up this early in weeks thanks to Easter Holidays but that ends now. Went to bed at 12:45 but I couldn't have fallen asleep until gone 2, I hate tossing and turning and not being able to shut down when I really need to because of College the next day.

Thankfully my muscles don't seem to be too bad from skating (was expecting them to be as I nearly had a cramp attack a few times yesterday lol), on the other side of the coin I feel crappy and ill but that's most likely due to sleep deprivation.

Free House For a Week!

So on Monday the family went to the seaside for the day, weather wasn't exactly great but they had obviously planned it ppeviously so they went. As it was a bank holiday monday there was apparently thousands of guys on their motorbikes at the beach, didn't know they did that on these ocassions but it's cool nevertheless.

Now they are going up to my Gran's for her 70th birthday party which is on Saturday, they're going early so they can go Butlins or something lol. I'm not complaining because it means I have a free house which is always nice however having to cook for yourself is not. I'm proud to say I now have jacket potatoes in my collection of meals I can make, had it with Tuna and Mayo yesterday, was yummy!

Easter Has Started

And I'm glad it has, I really was/am in the need for a relaxing two weeks so I can get back up to date with college work and be ready for the last term before I split up for the summer.

I haven't been doing much apart from Xbox and skating. I need to find some size 2 girl skate shoes for my sister for her birthday, not too sure where to get them though as I asked in Tag and the lowest they have is size 3 grrrr.

Finally I'm pretty hungry! Going to snack on some ice gems. :D

Daaaamn I Look Bad

I've woke up today at my usual time of 6:45AM in order to get to college in time. Usually this isn't too much of a problem but it is today, considering I went to bed just 5 hours previously.

I don't feel the best but I can cope with that, it's just the big ass bags that have formed underneath my eyes which is going to bug me all day. I wonder if anybody notices them? lol

Monday Challenge - Drinking Calypso's

So last week Fred tried to eat crisps, he failed. This week Conor wanted to drink 48 cups of Calypso, a total of 8.8 litres. He was crazy to even think it would be possible, I tried telling him but he wanted to try so Alex spent £4 buying 4 crates (total of 48 drinks) in order to make it happen.

He was even more disappointing than Fred managing just 9 before he couldn't take anymore making him 39 short! This meant we had LOTS of left over drinks so me and Luke started our challenge to see who could drink 1 crate consisting of 12 cups the quickest. After seeing Conor manage just 9 I was sceptical about whether I could do it and I was right to, I only managed 9 too.

It's much harder than you think it's going to be, you get a few down you and already you can fill the consequences as your belly starts to expand. Getting to 9 was basically my limit, I think I could have gone to 10 but it would have taken me like 5 more minutes so I decided to call quits there and admit a draw with Conor. Luke on the other hand was able to manage the full 12, however he ended up being sick and going home bless him.

There's video clips of the ordeals but I won't bother uploading them as they will be big in file size. I also filmed Conor bursting one and getting it all over himself, rather funny.

What will happen next week? I'm not sure as Luke being sick really has been a big highlight and will be hard to top. I'm just happy to wait and see what happens, see an image below of what the cups of drink looked like if you don't know what calypso's are.

Taylor Punched Me!

Silly girl thought I was gonna block it but considering her fist was just a foot away I didn't have enough time to react, I'm not superman! lol.

Don't have anything else interesting to say today apart from I'm glad it's the weekend!

Oh and I got a yummy baguette for £2 at lunch which contained Cajun Chicken and Caesar Chicken, I sure do love my baguettes from that bakery lol.

Crisp Challenge Happened

So as planned Alex went to Farms Food at break time, spending £3.19 on a box of 32 packets of Walkers. Now Jamie cancelled out due to ulcer but thankfully Fred said he would give it a go instead, stating Alex would have to use a public bus for the next month if he was able to eat all 32 in the alloted time.

Fred tried, but failed.... badly. Managing just 10 packets in 25 minutes he was averaging a packet every 2 and a half minutes which just wasn't going to be enough to reach the task he had assigned himself. I knew eating 32 wouldn't be possible but I had predicted him to last a lot longer than 25 minutes and to hopefully accomplish 20, a more realistic goal. Aaron seems to think he could do it, he may be trying next week.....

In other news I am starting to get behind with college work. I'm not too bothered because the teachers (Sue and Gordon) are behind on their marking so I have a legitimate excuse as to why I haven't bothered to do it as they haven't shown the effort to do their side of the deal. Will try and do Wahid's Computer Systems Unit tomorrow, just one more task to go and then I'm finished.

Ahhhhh, Presentation Tomorrow

So it's been coming for months now and finally I am going to give my presentation on skateboarding in my Communications and Employability lesson at College. I knew straight away skateboarding was the topic for me, it's obvious to everyone it's my big passion in life so being given the chance to share what skateboarding gives to me to my colleagues is a great opportunity.

However it hasn't gone quite like that. My overall aim was waaay to big, I wanted to talk about loads and after giving my draft speech my teacher told me that I hadn't gone as indepth as possible in the sections I had done, thats when I made the decision to cut out lots and stick to giving a storyline of the progression of skateboarding through the years.

So after a hectic week of trying to get it done it's now complete to a satisfactory standard. I didn't think it would be so hard to find pictures of Rodney Mullen and Ryan Sheckler as kids but it really was, on a few occasions I've had to make do with pictures that aren't too adaequate but will have to do. That's going down tomorrow at 1:15, hopefully I will be fine.

In other news it was my Dads birthday today and thankfully Singstar Queen which I had ordered for him arrived a day before release date in time. Was £18 from HMV so cheap and quick so I am left very impressed. Wish I could say the same for One Tree Hill Season 3 which I also ordered from HMV on the same day for £15. It better arrive tomorrow!

Jamie's Crisp Challenge

Today was just a usual boring Monday involving going to college, doing next to no work and then returning home for the evening. It was made slightly more eventful today when Alex made the bet that Jamie wouldn't be able to eat 32 packets of Walkers in one lunch time (55 minutes). Now Alex is pretty rich so spending £3.20 to get the crisps from Farms Food doesn't matter to him, he just wants to laugh as Jamie fails to succeed next Monday. The reason for him failing is due to lack of time. He's going to need to eat a packet every minute and 20 seconds or so which really is going to be hard considering his pace will slow down and he will need to drink. Therefore I assume it to be impossible, I suppose we'll have to wait and see....

And I am a step closer to finally getting a set of drums for my 360 as my Key Skills teacher's son's girlfriend is selling the whole lot for £90 to me including the game. Great offer I just can't turn down!

Illness and No Posting Again

So I've had a cold and snotty nose for a good few days now, today I've been the best I have in a while yet when I woke up in the morning I did feel like crap.

Still, no excuse for not making posts. It's been 2 weeks nearly, I just never know what to say. I'll start off by saying how Farms Foods is my new favourite store as it has big packets of Haribo's for 69p, 2 litres of Pepsi for 79p and other fantastic cheap deals. Regardless to my love of pound land recently these are prices which Pound Land can't even compete with, so they have my current attention.

Another thing I want to mention is I started doing a spreadsheet file in Excel where I update everyday listing my income, expenditure and overall currency. It's handy as I am able to calculate how much money I have thanks to a few forumulaes plus be able to see what I spend the majority of my money on.

Got to do my Presentation on Skateboarding for Communications and Employability lesson at college on Friday, going to work on it all day Tuesday to hopefully make it fantastic! Can't be bothered to mention anything else, life is boring. Laterz xx

Conversion to Christianity Anyone?

So last friday I experience a surreal moment of my life. I'm going home form college, on the bus listening to my music for the 45 minute journey and the guy next to me started talking to me, being friendly. I'm not rude so I paused my music and said hello, why I was in Bedford and stuff as did he. Somehow we got on to the topic of him being a Christian (after a few minutes of random chit chat) and his friend who was sitting next to him just got off the phone and turned to greet me to.

Next thing I know I discover they have "healing powers" as they asked me if they could attempt to heal my wrist. I didn't have anything stopping me as my wrist bloody hurts and I'd love for it to be healed so I gave them the opportunity. The two of them overlapped their hands upon and beneath mine and lowered their heads, whispering some prayer. Now usually I would be laughing so hard right now but they're seriousness to actually want to succeed is probably why I didn't as I would have felt bad. After they failed (I moved my wrist and it still hurt) they asked if they could try again which I obliged to despite them inevitably failing again.

Now that was over and done with they decided it would be good to educate me about Christianity and heck, I was interesting. The bus journey I do everyday is always so boring so the chance to listen to this enthusiastic 24 year old tell me about God was a pleasant suprise. He asked me about my sins and turned out that I've failed the first 3 (lies, lust and theft) so my future doesn't look too good when it comes to heaven. Well that's what I thought but apparently Jesus is the one that died for all our sins and as long as I try I will still be accepted in to heaven. Hmmm.

Well I flipped the coin on them at one point, wanted to see how they reacted. As we were talking about belief in God and the miracles that Jesus did I decided I would argue the point that I've never seen any miracle and there's no real proof that God exists. Thankfully I have been on a Ouiji Board and have spoken to spirits and boy it's a scary but good experience. Ever since I did that I have believed in spirits and that's more believable that God that's for sure. One of the guys (was Kieran, he spoke the majority of the time and was originally on his mobile) said that God is a lovely caring man but also has a bad side and warns you not to do things. Not too sure what Kieran meant by that but I believe he was referring to spirits, hard to tell though as he would blab so much and go off the point of the topic divulging in to another similar one a lot of the time.

Eventually after 30 minutes or so it was my stop and I smiled and said goodbye. Although they haven't convinced me to believe in God or that humans can heal other humans I have taken something away from that experience which is Christians aren't boring dull people you may have stereotyped them for. The 2 guys have done skateboarding before and one of them does a bit of parkour, I thought that was cool.

Other news in my life is that Taylor's gone away to Derby on a Geography trip for a few days and I'm already starting to miss her. Feels weird not being with her in the evening as I'm so used to, going to spend the time doing assignments though as I have fallen slightly behind.

Can't be bothered to type anymore as I have 2 more blogs I need to accomodate for, just glad I finally bothered to type up my experience with the Christians lol.

So Demotivated Today

Thursday was a full day of College, has been since the strand choice decision came in to swing. First lesson was great, I tweaked my Tic Tac Toe game even more to fix bugs and such. Was funny as me and Paula (my teacher) spent like 20 minutes trying to figure out how we could stop the process from repeating so you couldn't place a nought or cross over a square which has already been pressed and then she finally worked out all we needed to type was "End Sub"! Happens a lot in programming, takes the longest time to find easy solutions.

But the main core of this blog post was for me to blab about my day in general at college. 2nd lesson was Advanced Databases and I came in alright (had Sue my tutor moan at me previously which was annoying) and listened at first to learn about Forms but then lost interest. I feel bad because John puts so much effort in to doing the teacher and no one bothers to listen, this has a knock off effect on me too so I end up day dreaming and not doing anything. I am not too bothered because I can do forms with a wizard so I'm sure I will be fine. I didn't finish off my Task 6 though due to the lack of motivation, oh dear.

Lunch time was cool. Pound Land got me £1 worth of Maryland Cookies (I am tempted to have some now but I won't as it's bed time! lol) and then £2 on a Chicken Tikka baugette with Aaron was a tastey lunch.

Lesson 3 was terrible as I actually spent the whole 90 minutes doing nothing but checking out random stuff on Wikipedia and doing no work. Did you know greeks used to believe that yawning is a sign of the person's soul trying to leave their body? I thought that was interesting as well as the research I learnt about scars on your body and more. That lesson ended and fourth with Wahid started which was bad again. On came the video and me being tired already just couldn't take it for long so after 20-30 minutes I dozed off for 10 mins or so. I somehow always managed to wake back up though and when I did it became more interesting (history of computers) so I paid more attention and was actually disappointed when he stopped it to do some talking which I REALLY was not motivated for. He finished 10 minutes early but that last 20 minutes went sooooo slow.

Anyway I'm not quite sure why I decided to write so much, I think it's because I know I've been lacking and feel like I need to actually bother with doing a blog as it's my New Year Resolution and all. I'm doing quite good though, most people give it up after a few weeks. I'm about 2 months in so I'm happy with my commitment at the moment.

Half Term Is Soon Ending

I'm at the weekend now and then it's back to college on Monday. I've really enjoyed the time off but I want more! Thankfully Staff Training Day (or whatever they call it gives me Tuesday and Wednesday off and then it's back to college.

I haven't been up to much apart from playing Xbox 360 really (read about that in my other blog). Never know what to put in this blog anymore as I can never be bothered to mention what I've done in a usual boring day. Meh.

Time To Sleep With Tay Tay

It's been a rather long exhausting day full of events. The day started off lame as Taylor decided she would take ages getting ready, meaning she eventually got to my house at gone 2PM, much later than I anticipated. Afterwards we watched 40 Days and 40 Nights, a pretty good romantic comedy film which I enjoyed. After that she left again to go and get ready to go out for our meal which was a shame for her as I was moody at the prospect of having to be charged £25 for some indian which although wasn't horrible it wasn't anything special.

Now we're at my house settling down for a good night sleep together. She's waiting for me so I will hurry up and finish blabbing now, bye bye.

I Made Tic Tac Toe & Time For Half Term

It's been a long week but it's finally ended and Half Term is coming. Didn't know if I was going to bother going in to college today but I'm glad I bothered and sent it as I got more work done on my Key Skills assignment (which I now enjoy as it's skateboarding related) as well as making Tic Tac Toe program! Was really happy with myself as I didn't think I'd be able to do it but I proved myself wrong and got it going. Third lesson was giving my presentation on skateboarding and I enjoyed that, fourth lesson was bad as I did nothing haha.

Just very grateful that I have time off to relax now, I need it.

Bus Broke Down

So I was minutes late to my first lesson today, a rare occurance. It wasn't even my fault, the bus was playing up. Arriving 10 minutes late the bus driver then (for reasons unknown to me) stoped for 15 minutes as something was wrong with it. After waiting for help (was none) he went to Market Square (main stop in my town) and rested again there for 5 minutes. By now it was 30 minutes late and the next bus in the schedule (one comes every 30 mins) overtook us! I was rather frustrated but thankfully my driver decided to continue the journey and got me to Bedford with minimal time left to get to class on time.

Not done much in the evening apart from have a nice time with Taylor and a bit of Xbox.

Beat Taylor to 2,000 Killswitch

So we had a silly little bet, who could listen to Killswitch Engage 2,000 times first. She only had 180 plays to go and I had something like 380, she had the advantage.

Thanks to me listening to them basically from rise until dawn yesterday I managed to catch up and beat her by a few tracks right at the end!

Day of Drama

So I posted this morning saying College was called off because of the snow. Well I have gotten up to lots since then starting off with the little snow fight me Taylor, Chloe and Caitlin had. We took some photos and my Dad came out for a bit and was amusing. We tried to make a snowman but that attempt went bad and we gave up quite quickly as Caitlin ruined it.

At one point when I went inside to get the camera I ended up smashing my head really badly as I jumped down the stairs and clipped my head on the ceiling. I flew to the floor in a heap covering my scalp in pain. I had to sit down for a bit then and get my thoughts together (I'm suprised I didn't get knocked out) and have Taylor laugh at me when I told her the story (she is so evil!). I still have a bump on my head which you can actually see and I plan to tell people I got hit by a snowball and see how many people I can fool lol.

The last piece of drama in the day has come recently when I found out I could have saved £7 if I got Skate 2 today instead of yesterday (ShopTo are selling for £27 now). I explained better detail in my Gaming Habits blog so check that out for all the details.

No College Again Today

I had a horrible night sleep, just tossed and turned for ages and I woke up before my alarm went off and I was just waiting for the dreaded sound. I got up, turned it off and prepared for a boring day but then boooom I see the snow outside! I been checking online and it seems like Bedfordshire transport is closed so I'm not going to even bother going college, would much rather have a day off and snow fight with Taylor. :D

Dull Day

Today has been a rather boring dull day as it has mainly consisted of me playing on my Xbox 360, kinda like yesterday. Snow seems to be going but will apparently fall again on Thursday and Friday. Taylor will be at her mums then and hopefully we can go have a snow fight. :D

Had some yucky curry earlier which I really didn't enjoy eating, was the icing on the cake of this relatively crap day.

Woo It's Snowing

Haven't seen anything like it in years. It really is snowing and we're getting inches of it! This meant that College was weird and everyone decided to leave after first lesson and I followed suit. Had a small snowball fight with my mates outside and then decided I'd go home.

Not done much since I've been here, just played PS3, some Xbox and not done any work, whoops!

Yet Again I'm Not Posting!!!

I don't know why, I'm really puzzled. I just cba with making blog posts. I want to but when it comes to it I can never bother to sacrifise the time too.

So with college I had review week and got a lot of assignments done. That week has gone and now I'm in second semester learning System Analysis and Server Scripting, dropping Networking which is cool. I backed out of going InnerPartySystem on Mondayand got my £8 back as well as having my 360 taken away and replaced in the week.

Can't be bothered to write anymore, will try EVEN harder to post from now on.

Today I've Been Ill

After a crappy sleep I woke up in time for college to discover I wasn't feeling all too good. I didn't bother going in to college today and instead have been indoors extremely bored all day. My only highlight has been Taylor coming round to look after me, she sure does know how to put a smile on my face and she cheered me up loads.

Sucks I'm not with her right now. :(

Why Have I Not Bothered To Update?

So I'm only 2 and a bit weeks into my blogging and I've already lost the motivation to bother keeping up with it. Why? Not too sure, probably due to the fact I am talking to just myself and nobody is interested.

Not sure what I should type about. Main thing that's bummed me out this week is my Xbox 360 getting the red rings of death, that's getting collected on Monday. I watched The Strangers with Taylor the other night, what a crap film. Also I went to the cinema last night with Taylor, Naz and Daniel to see Role Models. It was kinda crap but a fun experience.

Am going to try do updates more frequently again, will post on the other blogs now.

Nothing new....

Nothing interesting has happened. Usual Xbox, skating yesterday, seeing Taylor and getting tasks done from my assignment. Can't be bothered to go indepth so will leave this blog post very short and pointless. My apologies

Unit 27 Assignment Overhaul!

Not been up to much in the past couple of days, all been the usual. It's been icy and snowy so no skateboarding which has meant indoors on the Xbox and seeing Taylor. I have started doing my Unit 27 Assignment though on Networking for college. Wrote pages, quite happy with myself but it's only the start as I have a lot more to do in the coming weeks.

Going to go get ready for bed now, auf wiedersehen.

Back to College

Woke up at 6:45 in order to get back into the swing of college. I awoke to snow and my father telling me there may be problems with buses, unfortunately there wasn't. It did however pick me up 5 mins later than usual, if I knew that was going to happen I would have ran back to my house and picked up my bag which I forgot and left in the hallway. Arrived in Bedford 15 mins later than usual and got through the lame day learning basically nothing and got extremely tired on the bus journey home. Done nothing apart from see Taylor for a bit and watch Xbox since I've been in.

I have however finally sorted out scrobbling on my iPod which was stressing me out so bad. I figured out how to make Last.FM manually scrobble my plays on my iPod to my account and this made it work. All those hours of trying to figure it out has finally paid off and all the songs I listened to at school got added to my profile, woop!

No More Shopping, Please!

Yesterday I did actually go to Milton Keynes with Taylor and I swear she decided to go even earlier than the day before as planned in order to get some revenge on me, haha. Was pleased to meet see her as we met up and went towards the bus stop where we met my Dad who had just bought TNA Impact and Facebreaker on the 360 alongside a few Blu Rays and DVDs. That started my day of good, until shopping time....

I recommend all guys don't go shopping with their girlfriends as you get dragged in numerous different stores that all look the same and sell the same crap. After a few stores I went in HMV and saw James Bond for £20 which I decided I would end up buying later on, just thought I'd wait for now until later. We went through more boring clothes stores and I ended up getting a Double Cheese from McDonalds and went to check out Woolworths stock. Was 80% with a few games such as Top Spin 3, Facebreaker, Smash Court Tennis and TNA Impact still in stock alongside some Blu Rays. Although I was tempted to buy them then I thought I'd risk it and wait until it dropped to 90%.

We left and more boring shopping in clothes stores and Taylor finally actually bought something thanks to my persuasion lol. I knew Zavvi was shutting down as well as Woolworths so I wanted to check that shop out. Unfortunately everything was only 10% off which is no match to what Woolies was offering. I treated myself to 2100 Microsoft Points for £13.50 though, I haven't had any points in like a year so seeing them at a good price made me decide to splash the cash. After Taylor was queuing up to buy something else I went back to Woolworths as it was nearing 3pm and the prices were going to go down to 90%. To my horror all the games had gone which was a bummer, however Don King's Prizefighter had mysteriously sprung up so I went and bought 2 copies of them for £3.50 each which made my day.

On the way to Woolies I had seen two people drinking Jolt energy drink which reminded me that it could be bought here at MK. After asking them they directed me to the shop Lets Eat which we checked out after Taylor had bought some gay pink pointy shoes and we had checked out some book stores. The choice was very limited with only Green and Orange being available and no Mountain Dew in the store and I was led to assume they were low on stock and expecting a delivery soon. After buying it and getting some cinnamon tic tacs (never seen before, suprisingly nice) it was back to HMV as I ended the day getting infuriated with the fact that Quantum of Solace was no longer in stock and there was nothing else in there as I checked for a good half an hour. Eventually I felt so bad on my girlfriend so I gave up getting anything I really fancied and gave way £10 of the £20 credit to get Sega Rally on the 360, a game I have heard nothing but appraisal for.

When I got back home at 6 or so I had dinner and then went round Taylor's to watch Independance Day. Not as good as I remembered it being as a kid but still worth the watch.

That was all yesterday and I can't be bothered to write about what happened today because all I've done is gone skating and played a bit of Xbox, description of that will be seen in their respective blogs. I leave you with an amusing picture I just took of me and my can of Jolt. Forgive the quality, I have a camcorder designed for filming, not taking pictures.

I wonder if that made you lol?

Seems Woolworths Stays Open a Day Longer

My Dad went Stevenage this morning and awoke me by a phone call letting me know that tomorrow was infact the last day of Woolworths being open. This therefore meant I didn't want to go today and thankfully my amazing girlfriend let me bail out on her as we decided to go tomorrow instead.

Today was another dull boring day of the christmas holiday. Taylor came round and it was nice being with her but just nice and typical. News at the dinner table of the family holiday being booked for August made me and Taylor happy. All inclusive 3-4 star hotel with a bedroom to ourselves is the news that made her day. Was funny at the dinner table to see her fail to eat even half of her chicken korma curry, she did get given way more than her stomach can handle though. Bless you Taylor. :p

This post is long enough as it is so I'll end now. Will post tomorrow evening probably with my stories about the adventure into Milton Keynes.

Start of a new year!

Well it's a new year and with that I decided I would start doing blogging. I love typing up about how my day has been and stuff and have made the odd blogs on social networking sides like MySpace before. A new year's resolution of mine is to maintain an efficient blog for a year and see how I find it. I'm going to do 3 blogs with this one for general stuff in my life, another about my passion for skateboarding and the last being my gaming habbits.

So what I've done today? Well it's been a rather dull and frustrating day as I spent hours upon hours trying to get my 2008 skate video ready to put up onto the web and failed in doing so. Had problems getting my MPEG2 skate clips to work in Sony Vegas 8.0 and then ended up giving up on converting them to WMV's to play (quality was getting bad) and turned to using Adobe After Effects to make the vid. Had problems in here with a few clips but mostly good until I tried to Export it and whenever I get to around 66% it decides to crash. Very lame, not sure what I am going to do about that.

Otherwise I've done nothing today. Had a nice lunch with turkey and it all and watched Johnathon's Creek in the evening, love that program. For the rest of the evening I'm going to continue sorting out my blogs and profile here on blogger, getting ready for the year ahead!

Tomorrow is Milton Keynes with Taylor to go shopping, get some good deals in Woolworths!
